PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURAL
COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES DETAILS ON CANDLELIGHT DINNER EVENTS

WASHINGTON, DC, JANUARY
11, 2001 – Jeanne Johnson Phillips, Executive Director for the Presidential
Inaugural Committee (PIC), today announced details on three Candlelight Dinners
sponsored by the PIC. The dinners, all occurring on Thursday, January 18, will
be held at the following locations: the Washington Hilton Hotel, the National
Building Museum, and Union Station. President-elect George W. Bush, Mrs. Laura
Bush, Vice President-elect Richard B. Cheney, and Mrs. Lynne Cheney are expected
to attend each dinner and make brief remarks.

"One of the PIC’s
goals is to make as many Inaugural events affordable and accessible as possible
